  • I am a friend of your family from many years ago from Severn Falls. I spent a lot of time at your mom and dads and on occasion baby sat all of you. Susie is actually named after me. I am saddened by the passing of Allen and your mother. Somewhere I have a picture of her and I being very silly. If I find it I will send it I am enclosing a school picture of Allen. • I'm sorry to hear of your loss just now. I spent my teenage years with the Dusome kids. And I will always remember Al laying down the rules for us partying. And if we went to outta hand. He had no problem playing bouncer. And for a small guy his presence was known. He loved his children very much. I miss you guys alot. Again I'm so sorry for your loss. Peace be with you. Love Shannon Leask. - Posted by: Shannon Leask () on: Nov 19, 2014

  • Al crossed my path just over one year ago when we called Lowe to send help to solve a troublesome problem. He was prepared and competent, but most, willing to pass along his knowledge as I drew from his training and experience. It was my pleasure to work along side him numerous times since. His smile and kindness will remain with me. - Posted by: Rob Smith (Power Engineer with the Province of Manitoba) on: Sep 03, 2013

  • Al was always more than an employee. He was a friend. We will miss him. To Cheryl and family, I want you to know how much Al was loved. I am sure he would scoff at such "nonsense" but I know that everyone at Lowe would agree with me. - Posted by: Jan Lowe (Friend, employer) on: Aug 15, 2013

  • On the coldest, most miserable day on a rooftop, Al was always able to make me laugh and made those days bearable. Thanks "Big Guy". Jerry - Posted by: Jerry Gosselin (CO-WORKER (LOWE)) on: Aug 15, 2013

  • Allen was truly one of the rare people I would always be glad to see, no matter what kind of day it was. He would always take a minute or two for you and share his big personality. He was one of a kind and will be missed. Our prayers are with his family. - Posted by: Marc Tellier () on: Aug 14, 2013

  • A truly great guy. I have wonderful memories of my uncle who gave me my first drawing book and taught me how to fish. I still remember the day that we pulled a giant catfish out of the river and he sent away for a "Master Angler Award" for me. (I must have been 8 years old) and I still have the master angler pin. You are in our hearts. Our warmest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Robyn Foster Quigley, Shane Quigley, Isaac Quigley (Niece) on: Aug 14, 2013

God has another angel. - Posted by: Reid Zinyk (past co-worker) on: Aug 14, 2013

  • Years ago I met Allen and his caring and loving family. With open arms they all welcomed me into their lives and the kindness I shall never forget. A candle that burns twice as bright only burns half as long... but heaven needs these bright lights to help others find their way home. Rest In Peace Allen.... my love and condolences to the family. - Posted by: James McArthur (Friend) on: Aug 13, 2013

  • If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again No Farewell words were spoken No time to say good-bye You were gone before I knew it And only God knows why. My heart's still active in sadness And secret tears still flow What it meant to lose you No one can ever know. But now I know you want us To mourn for you no more To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten I pledge to you today A hallowed place within my heart Is where you'll always stay. God knows why, with chilling touch, Death gathers those we love so much, And what now seems so strange and dim, Will all be clear, when we meet Him. I Knew you for a Moment, I will love you always, I will miss you always, I will remember you always. i love you Allen, RIP - Posted by: Betty Dusome Lamoureux (sister) on: Aug 13, 2013
