JOAN NORQUAY Mom passed away on August 11, 2013 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 75 years. A Celebration of Joan's Life will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A full obituary will appear Saturday. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

My condolences to all of the immediate family members and all who knew her. Auntie Joan always carries a special place with me as she was always so giving and happy to hear your voice. Our family had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with her while attending Stephanie's wedding a few years back. I will never forget her dancing at the reception with such zest and life. She said when they play her music she just can't sit down.... That memory is the one I carry with me, with her full of life and joy having a great time. Hugs to all of the family from me. Sharon and Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss. Cherish all the memories. Your mom was such a sweet person. I will always remember our holidays at Blue Lake. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I wish I lived closer so I could be there to celebrate her life and say goodbye. Please know that I am there in spirit. So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I called her Mom, because she really was a second Mother to me. The last time I saw her was at my own Mother's funeral in December 2012 - she was so kind to come and see me and my family in Stonewall. I'll miss her.
