ROY S. PAREDES Peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, Roy Paredes, age 57 passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. He is survived by sons Paul (Lovelyn) and Roy Jr., grandsons Kingston and Kaiden, former wife Florentina, sisters Myra (Nick), and Tessie (Huor), brothers Elmer (Mildred), Teddy (Lulu), and Cesar (Paneng), loving girlfriend Zeny, as well as nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his parents Corazon and Teofil and his brother Rudolpho. Lamay will be held Friday and Saturday, August 16 and 17, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Filipino United Community Church, 1039 Pritchard Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. The family would like to thank all the pastors, Health Sciences Centre, H4 doctors and staff, family doctor Ernesto Milambiling, family, and friends who visited. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111

Roy was a friendly funny accepting person, At work he guided me in some tasks and also helped me get through some obstacles that were hard to accomplish. At times when I or any one was at their down time he was sure there to help lift our spirits. Roy we will always remember you and you will be always missed.
