WILLIAM (BILL) CARTWRIGHT Bill was born on April 1, 1959 and passed away on August 9, 2013 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by his brother Gary and parents Joan and Fred Cartwright. Survived by his wife Lillian Cartwright (Rosche), brother Bob (Sam) Cartwright, sisters Diane Cartwright and Lynne Leah, two nephews and four nieces. Bill worked as a tow truck driver for many years before completing his Class One license. He then worked for a number of trucking companies before buying his own Freightliner which he ran under Lil Rosche Trucking. He loved demolition derbies, car racing and snowmobiling. He had a special place in his heart for all of our cats and dog Gracie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the charity of your choice. The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Thalberg Hall in Thalberg, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Monkman Family Funeral Home is in care of arrangements, 447 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
