Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA MANAILA SOCACIU It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Manaila Socaciu, our beloved mother, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Simion Socaciu. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Mimi and Doru; as well as by relatives and friends in Canada and Romania. She was a devoted wife and mother. The family would like to send their sincere thanks and appreciation to conscientious staff at Parkview Place Nursing Home for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Prayers will be said on Sunday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrius Romanian Orthodox Church, 103 Furby Street, with Rev. Fr. Victor Malanca officiating.
