GREGORY ALBERT ANDREW FAWCETT June 15, 1957 - August 16, 2013 Gregory left us quietly on Friday, August 16, 2013, leaving as he lived life, honestly and without fanfare. A kind soul with a special affinity for coffee, Coke and Doritos, Gregory was a true romantic who loved order, his family and his animals. His spirit loved making things right and to be free to move in wide open spaces. Heartbroken and left to grieve his passing are Gregory's mother Terry (predeceased by his father Albert); fiancé Synthia Unrau; sisters Elizabeth, Deborah (William Davis) and Sandra (Eric Garsonnin); and brother John (Jennifer Schroeder Fawcett). Greg dearly loved his nephews Andrew Fawcett and Jason (Kristen McNabe) and David MacDonald (Lori - Ann) and their families; niece Nadine Bracke (Eric Pollman) and her family, who brought joy to his life. Zachary, Brittany, Annelise, Caleb, Hanna and Samuel will miss Uncle Greg dearly. On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, Greg's Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard. The Fawcett family would like to thank family physician Dr. T.H. Gooi and the Health Sciences MS Clinic for their wonderful care; the staff of Holy Care for their friendship and who helped maintain Greg's independence; and all the staff of Home Care, in particular June, his constant caregiver for the past 12 years, for their loving support and friendship to Gregory. Thanks as well to Richard Macey, John and Sharon St. Goddard and, Gord Fingland for all their care and support.
