Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRA HENDERSON August 4, 1959 August 17, 2013 After many years of battling with diabetes it is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the passing of our dear son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend Ira Henderson on Friday, August 17, 2013 at the age of 54 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Stanley Henderson, Marie Marsden (Lawrence Marsden), by his siblings Brenda (Durval Medeiros), Fern (Dianne), Ron (Lynn), Darlene (Alvin Bear), Melvin (Allana) and Lawrence, numerous uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Ira was predeceased by grandparents McRae and Jemina Henderson; John and Frances Boubard. 1 John 3:16 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning that we should love one another. Wake Services to be held August 21 The Bread of Life Ministry, 1338 Main Street from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wake Services to continue at Christ Anglican Church Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation at midnight; Thursday, August 22 at Christ's Anglican Church Hall at 6:00 p.m. In keeping with Ira's wishes, cremation will take place after the church service celebrating his life will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Christ's Anglican Church with Rev. Nancy Bruyere and Rev. Richard Bruyere officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Dumas, Warren Goulet, Fern Henderson, Cory Henderson, Allen Henderson and Tony Seenie. In lieu of flowers donations can be accepted for the family to Marie Marsden. Monkman Family Funeral Home in care of funeral arrangements: 204-226-7581.

Our family is in mourning as 2019 was not great for our family as mama left us on April and now our little brother has joined you, dad and mom in December. He is no longer suffering here as he is now walking, running, and dancing with the Angels above. We miss you all as you left a great void in our lives, not a day goes by that a thought, a memory of you all comes to mind... and someday we will have our family chain linked in the beautiful garden we call Heaven. The month of April has been a tough and still continues as we lost mom on the first of April as she joins you and Dad in that beautiful garden we call Heaven. She is no longer suffering as she tried to hold on but our Heavenly Father called her name as her work here is done... it's been very hard to lose mama but I am sure she is free from pain and seeing you and Dad makes it that much more bearable here to know that you are all together. Another year has gone by and Dad has joined you in July, he is no longer suffering here on earth. A new year has begun my brother, the Christmas season was difficult for us as for mom and dad it was difficult. Why? I keep asking Why? It happens to the best of families of losing a loved one. I cannot fathom the thought that you are gone never to say hello again, to share stories together of growing up and life's many experiences.
