Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN VOGT October 5, 1928 - August 22, 2013 With sadness and peaceful hearts we announce the passing of John Vogt. After a lengthy illness, he is now in his heavenly home. John leaves his devoted wife of 61 years Mary, sons John (Shelagh) and Ernie (Carol) and daughter Eleonore (Peter). Opa will be missed by his grandchildren Matt (Helga), Melanie (Evan), Adam (Chelsea), Katie, Johanna, David and Connor and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by stepbrother Verner Epp and sister-in-law Frieda Vogt and family John enjoyed his years as Head of Respiratory Therapy at Concordia Hospital. John and Mary enjoyed their many trips to Hawaii. John held onto God's hand and his faith in God was a solace to him. Funeral services will be at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice or Mennonite Central Committee 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2T 5K9.
