It is with great sadness I hear of Mrs. Hoplock's passing. Such wonderful memories of her, she welcomed me like another daughter, made me always feel so loved-Lois was my best friend, unfortunately our distance in where we both relocated took us apart for too many years. It was not Lois who was my best buddy, but the whole family embraced me. Ended up child sitting for Adele & Lorraine. Great memories on the farm. I wish all the family strength, Rose is at peace, such a hard working woman...she can now rest-as she never sat still. My love to you all, I wish I could be at her service, unfortunately I cannot make it, hopefully Gloria & my Mom can. She will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Sharon Beaudry (Constable) Sherwood Park, Alberta (Family Friend) on: Aug 30, 2013

It is at times like this that kilometer-distance is so difficult... but my sister, Bonnie, and her husband, Gary, will attend Rose's funeral on my behalf... and, though I am in Calgary, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you in Winnipeg as you mourn the loss but CELEBRATE THE LIFE of ROSE, a lady of FAITH and of LOVE... on Saturday morning, I will attend Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral here in Calgary where I will unite my prayers with yours... may Rose's personal legacy live on in all of us who loved her dearly and may her soul finally rest in peace. - Posted by: Sister Dorothy Levandosky OSB (friend of the family) on: Aug 28, 2013
