DENNIS KIN Dennis Kin, a.k.a., Danny or "Bucko" passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2013 in Winnipeg, MB. Left to cherish Dennis' memory are his two daughters, Lisa and Jo-Ann; two grandchildren Zoƫ and Willow; brother Norman; as well as many cousins and friends. On November 13, 1936, Dennis was born in Langenburg, SK to Benjamin and Marie Kin. He worked for Crown Zellerbach/Crown Paper/Unisource for over 25 years until he retired. He was a hard worker and a great employee. He spoke proudly of his position as 2nd in charge of the shipping department. Dennis was a dedicated member of The Royal Canadian Legion at 618 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, MB, where he went every Friday afternoon to play Bingo and socialize. Dennis was an eccentric man and had a passion for creating art pieces that he decorated his apartment with in his favourite colours: red, black and gold. He was also a collector of various items. As a hobby, he spent his time finding pieces that could be of value. He had an amazing green thumb and enjoyed helping out the legion with caring for their plants. In compliance with Dennis' wishes, there will not be a Service. Winnipeg Funeral Director, Richard Wojcik of Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, in care of arrangements, 204 - 586 - 8668, wojciksfuneralchapel.com. A great father, a great friend and a man who always tried to be there for you, will sadly be missed.

You are missed every day. Thank you for adopting me as your daughter, caring about me when you had no obligations to do so, even when my mother made it difficult. Thank you for being grandfather "Bucko" to my children. Thank you for all the positive influence you had on me throughout the years. I hope you know how much I loved and appreciated everything, and that feeling grows stronger every day. I wish I could see you again, to hug you and tell you face to face...You were an angel sent from heaven and are missed every day. I love you dad. - Posted by: Jo-Ann Johnson (Daughter) on: Aug 14, 2018
