KEARNEY It is with great sadness in our hearts to announce the departure of our loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, Brian S. Kearney, who succumbed to his long battle with a lengthy illness. Brian, born in Rainy River, Ontario on March 22, 1947 was the oldest of three boys from parents Hazel and Lorne. Brian's high school years were spent at Hammarskjöld in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Brian's working years were as a mechanic in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Brian passed away on August 21, 2013 at the tender age of 66. Brian is survived by his wife of 42 years Verna, daughter Lorraine (Ben), sons Mark (Rhonda), Lee (Darrilynn), as well as his granddaughter Ashley and grandson Dylan, father Lorne and brother Neil. He is predeceased by his brother D'arcy and his mother Hazel. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. Our hearts go out to you and your family. Brian was truly a wonderful, kind and soft spoken man. We will cherish our camping memories always! Life is way too short. Cherish your loved ones. Hug and kiss your grandchildren everyday and stay close to the ones who love you unconditionally forever and always. You never know when it's your time.
