LEA MARIA DIANA CHERNETSKI (nee VANDAL) It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our precious Mom, grandmother, great-grandmother (Mimi) and friend, at the age of 77, on Monday, August 26, 2013. Mom was loved by all her family and will be missed dearly. Survived by daughter Wanda, sons Wayne (Bea), Gary (Susan), Darrin (Lisa), Mark (Stephanie); grandchildren and great-grandchildren Michele (Glen), Brielle, Nicholas, Amanda, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Tristyn, Brandin, Justin, Bryson, Aiden; sisters Norma, and Dolores; brother Dollard, and special friend Percy and his family, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was predeceased by husband Patrick, parents Arthur and Leontine, brother Norris, and sister Dolly. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Units 1 and 3 of the 3rd Floor with a special thank you to Kim, Cindy, Maurina, Kate, Ruth, Sheila, Veronica, Reynaldo, Dr. Riel and Dr. Goeke. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. My deepest condolences to the Chernetski family. I was a friend of Mark's a long time ago and remember his mom fondly.. my heart goes out to you.
