Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON RAYMOND (TAKOOSE) MOUSSEAU (Spotted Eagle) On Tuesday, August 28, Gordon snuck away on us to be with The Creator and Loved ones. Gordon was a wonderful, loving man who possessed a great sense of humour and kindness. He loved to tease and make others laugh. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. All who knew him were amazed that even though he was in a body that didn't do what he would have liked, his spirit soared like an eagle. Now, he is truly soaring... He leaves to mourn, his beloved wife of 18 years, Estelle. Also left to mourn his passing are brothers Douglas (Dolores), Garth, Wayne, Marcel and sisters Rose Mousseau, Judy Leblanc and Ina Wood. He was also embraced and will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Hélène Brais, sisters-in-law Vivianne (Rheal) Remillard, Suzanne (Guy) Ayotte and brothers-in-law Julien (Lise) Brais, Gaëtan (Jocelyne) Brais. He also leaves behind much loved nieces and nephews and their families. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Alice Mousseau and father-in-law Etienne Brais. Honorary pallbearers are Maurice and Raymond Mousseau, Danny and Marty Flett, Len and Ricky Mousseau, Julien and Gaëtan Brais. We would like to thank the staff at 4ABC Actionmarguerite St. Boniface (Taché Centre), neighbour Joseph Levay, and all our family and friends for their care and support throughout the years and during this very difficult time. A special thank you to niece Julie Schneider and friend Agnes Remillard who went above and beyond in offering Gordon and Estelle their love and commitment of friendship especially during the last week of his life. You are invited to join us in a gathering to honor Gordon's life on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St., Winnipeg Manitoba. Viewing will take place one hour prior and one hour after service for those who wish. Go free my Love... I will forever hear your whispers in the breeze, your caress in the falling rain, your wit in the dance of the autumn leaves, your free spirit in the flight of the chickadee and the soaring eagle. Your musical talent in every minor chord and your unconditional love and trust in the face of every baby and child.
