Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALMERINDA DA CONCEICAO GARCIA November 28, 1927 - September 4, 2013 On Wednesday, September 4, 2013 our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her son, Edward Matias (Velma), granddaughter Tina Matias-Bouchard (Bradley), great-granddaughter Brooke Bouchard, niece Filomena Cabral (Graciano), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Almerinda was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Bradley Bouchard, Greg Cabral, Steven Cabral, Erik Cabral, Ryan Giesbrecht and Graciano Cabral. Prayers will be said on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. with interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
