Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGAIL DOREEN BENDER (nee CARRIERE) July 25, 1939 - August 28, 2013 It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gail Doreen Bender on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at the age of 74. Gail was predeceased by her father Albert, brother Bill, and second husband Alexander. Left to mourn her passing is her mother Patricia, siblings Larry (Bev), Yvonne (Curtis), Arnold, Trish (Raymond), April, and Bobby. Her first husband Bill and their children Albert (Carla), Darlene, Bev (Bruce), and Rick. Gail and Alexander's children Reené (Dean) and Ross (Marianne). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great-grand-children, as well as many extended family members and friends. She enjoyed listening to country music, visiting with family and friends, and especially shopping for her great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of Gail's attendants at Home Care for their years of service. As per Gail's wishes, she wanted a private family service that will be held at the Garden of Memories on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. located at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre. My deepest condolences to Gail's family. Gail was such a positive person and was always concerned about others. With all her own health issues she would always ask me, "How is Auntie Bertha doing?"
