My deepest condolences to Les, Gerry and Kimberly. Mrs Walterson was an extremely kind person. As a young person I remember watching the moon landing in her living room. I cannot say how well she treated me all her life. The world lost a wonderful person. - Posted by: Ken Smyrski (Friend of her son's) on: Sep 13, 2013

To Les, Gerry, Kim and all the families, I am so sorry to learn of Eleanor's passing. I last spoke to her in early July, but God Bless you Kim, for keeping in touch with me so I knew where things were at. Eleanor was a very dear and gentle soul, who was a friend to many. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her. She has left all the grandchildren a beautiful and loving legacy. Our hearts go out to all of you. With our deepest sympathy to all, Barb Bourque, Kris, Sherry (and Tyler, Jared & Sarah) and Kirsten Walterson, all of Calgary. - Posted by: Barbara Bourque (Walterson) (Sister-in-Law) on: Sep 10, 2013

I had the privilege of being invited to Eleanor's beautiful home for a visit in July. She shared family stories which brought back so many memories. I will never forget the special day spent with a special lady. Thank you so much to Eleanor and her family for the wonderful day. - Posted by: Linda Clark (Cousin) on: Sep 09, 2013

I want to express my very deep sympathies to the children of Eleanor Walterson and to say how much I respected your Mother. She was always so very kind to me and always interested in my family. Grandma and I would like to go for long walks when visiting each other and to pass the time we would cloud watch, find images and different shapes floating around. We came across a striated cloud and she say...trever what is that one look like? Well the sand at the beach after the tides gone out.....nope wrong try again..... cooked spaghetti noodle without sauce......wrong again. Well grandma what is it then? And she replies trever it's the roof of your mouth. Only she would have the sense of humour to come up with that one. she had a funny way of making even the cloudiest of days bright and fun! - Posted by: trever walterson (grandson) on: Sep 07, 2013
