She was predeceased by her husband Frederick, and son Brian. She leaves to cherish her memory good friends and family. As requested, cremation has been taken place and no formal service will be held. I remember when we attended the same church as Winnie (the name we always knew her by). Our family gave her a ride to church every Sunday. I remember her white hair, and how sweet she was with us kids, and how she gave us special little gifts at Easter - cute chicks in plastic eggs, and candy too. After 40 years, I still recall her kindness, so she definitely had an impact on me. My mom stayed in contact with Winnie over all these years and took her out every month to do shopping. I spoke to Winnie about a year and a half ago to let her know my mom was terminally ill. I know my mom was sad to not have the energy to take Winnie out anymore. We did not know her as Mary or Elizabeth. We have always known her as Winnie. She was a very inspiring woman who we admired and was very fond of. She shared her adventures with us and loved life and laughter.
