My heart is with you all during this time of sorrow. Although Bob was an original tough guy, he was very kind and respectful to the people he dedicated his life to serve and protect! I deeply respect his style of work, sense of humour and his firm but fair ethic in how he treated the Aboriginal offenders he motivated to make a better life for themselves. RIP Brother in Creator's love! ♥ - Posted by: Melanie Setter (co-worker) on: Sep 14, 2013

Frank had worked with Bob since the late 70's and they shared many years together as ERT Teammates. I met him in 1982. We grew and learned together as officers and supported one another through both difficult and happy times. Bob was great to work with and you could always count on him. For me he was not just a co-worker but a mentor and teacher, that stable, honest person you could go to for advice, assistance or just to have fun with. I often thought of him when teaching others. Those times and his spirit and friendship will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Linda Garwood-Filbert/Frank Filbert (Friend/Co-Workers) on: Sep 13, 2013

Bob - awesome co-worker, leader, and man. I would count myself very fortunate if he considered me as a friend. Always willing to teach you skills at work - all round super guy to be around. He will be missed & mourned by all he has known. Heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends. - Posted by: Jan Ouellette (co-worker) on: Sep 12, 2013

Saw Bob last on Tuesday, he was the same guy I met 19 years ago. Positive, with a quiet re-assuring strength. You did not worry when you worked with Bob, cause he wasn't worried. Gilles you are right I tried modeling myself around his style of work as well, it was honest. Few people have the respect of everyone, Bob had that and more. To his family our regrets in Bob's passing, may God's love bring peace to you, as I say this, I weep. - Posted by: dave warkentin (co worker) on: Sep 09, 2013

I first met Bob in Edmonton on a 2 week ERT Leader/Instructor Course in 1989. I found Bob to be an extremely dedicated and chariSmatic leader. I got to know him and continued as working ERT colleagues for many years to follow. Bob will be greatly missed by all who new him. Rest In Peace my brother! - Posted by: James Couvier (Friend/Colleague) on: Sep 09, 2013
