A Celebration of Merna's life will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Merna. Although we lived miles apart, I always felt welcomed and loved by Aunt Merna. She was the human 'google' of our family; always in touch with the goings on throughout our extended family. She is in a peaceful place now and out of pain. Our family was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Merna. She was such a good and kind lady, such a wonderful mother and grandmother and an inspiration to so many of us. The world has lost a very special lady! She always wore a smile on her face and was always so up beat about everything.
