SHIRLEY RUTH LOGAN (nee EMPEY) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Shirley Ruth Logan on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Concordia Hospital. Shirley was predeceased by her husband David, sisters Madge Norman and June Relkie, brother Clifford Empey and her daughter-in-law Wendy Logan. She will be missed and forever remembered by her six children Michael (Kathy), Douglas, Cheri (Lorne) Yaskiw, Timothy (Elaine), Gordon (Jodie) and Lisa (Gerald) Becker, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mom was born on April 6, 1924 in Winnipeg and lived her entire life in Elmwood and East Kildonan. Mom and dad were married on August 26, 1944. Her family was the most important part of her life. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory can be made to a charity of your choice. Dearly loved by her family and forever in our hearts.
