STANISLAW (STANLEY) OKULICZ August 4, 1925 - September 14, 2013 Stanley passed away peacefully at the age of 88 with his special friend Vicky at his side at the Stonewall Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Stanley was born in Poland in 1925 and after immigrating to Canada settled in Winnipeg where he lived until July of this year when he moved to Stonewall. Stanley was a carpenter but also was a general tradesman. He was always willing to help neighbors and friends. Stanley was a very private person; he loved and appreciated animals and birds. Stanley lost a hard fought battle with cancer. Stanley is survived by brother Ed (Laddie) in Montreal, nieces in Vancouver and the United States and his special friend Vicky and her family. Cremation has taken place and according to Stanley's wishes there will be no service and his ashes will be buried in Montreal.
