TIMOTHY (TIM) ROBIN BESKO May 25, 1966 - September 21, 2013 On Saturday, September 21, 2013, our hearts broke when Tim left us so suddenly. Tim is remembered by his mother Fran, brothers Chris (Jackie) and Geoff (Shelley) and sister Kim (Tim), his nieces and nephews Sam, Lauren, Gillian, Katie, Nicholas and Charlie Robin. Tim was predeceased by his father Ted. Tim had a B. Comm. and MBA from the University of Manitoba and worked most recently as an IT Professional for eHealth at the WRHA. Tim will be remembered by his family and the many friends he made over the years whether from childhood, school, university or work. It did not matter if he was catching Master Angler channel cats, painting miniature figures for table top games, playing with his nieces and nephews, or talking about soccer, Canadian history or books, Tim always brought his attention and special brand of humour and wit to every situation. Even while dealing with significant health challenges over the last few years, Tim could still share a joke with health care staff while being treated in the hospital. The family wants to give our special thanks to the many healthcare professionals, especially those with the Home Hemodialysis Program, who have helped Tim enjoy more quality time with us. Tim has touched the lives of many people and will be missed by all, especially by his nieces and nephews who had a special place in his heart and life. A Memorial Service for Tim will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will happen at a later date. Tim was an avid student of Canadian history. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Canada's History Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

  • Still miss you. You were an original. Eyes forspent with vigil, faint and reeling, Find at last my comfort, and are blest, Not with rapturous light of life's revealing Nay, but rest. - Posted by: Jeff Anderson (Friend) on: Oct 02, 2017

  • Tim was as close to family as I could ask for. He was always there for me whenever I needed. Having left for Alberta in 2011, I was never there for him when he needed. He will forever be in my memories, some of the fondest memories I've had. All my love and condolences to his family. I will never meet another person with as big as heart as he had. Thank you for being such an important part of my life. - Posted by: Shawn Hill (Friend) on: Dec 13, 2013

  • I met Tim in our first year of university together. He was always fighting for something, (sometimes it was me!). These last 3 years he fought for himself. He handled it with amazing strength and grace. He will be missed by a lot of people. - Posted by: Christine Neufeld (Friend) on: Oct 02, 2013

  • What a profound loss for all who knew him. A big heart and a great wit. With a smirk, Tim always had a distinct and incisive way of making his point. He was always a true and wonderful friend and I am terribly saddened by his passing. My thoughts and feelings go out to Fran, Chris, Geoff, Kim, and their families. - Posted by: Stephen Goulet (Friend) on: Oct 01, 2013

  • My friend Jon and I worked for Tim for two summers at Asper School. I have great memories of the three of us throwing around oranges in Tim's office, and bantering back and forth with him. He had a big heart and was a lot of fun. Still probably the best job I've ever had. My condolences to his family, our thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Ryan Kuffner (Friend) on: Sep 30, 2013

  • Tim was truly a great guy. In each memory of him he was helpful and positive - and yes quite often telling some joke with that smirk of his :) - and I always enjoyed his company. The last time I spoke to him it was after I hadn't seen him for 10 years - he was doing what he always did - helping me out by passing on some information I needed. I was really sad to hear he was gone. - Posted by: Sean Robson (Friend of the family) on: Sep 29, 2013

  • Although I have not had any contact with Tim in many years, every time I thought of him it always brought a smile to my face. In high school Tim had such a great sense of humour and made me laugh on countless occasions. I can still picture that smirk he had in the classroom at St. Paul's every time he said something hilarious with that dry wit that he had. I will always remember those days fondly. My sincere condolences to all of his family. - Posted by: Carl Seier (High School Classmate) on: Sep 28, 2013

  • I think I've known Tim for about 25 years. He was always a good and true friend. I will miss our discussions, planning game projects, the great games he would set up, and just hanging out with him. My heart was heavy when I heard he had passed, but in a way, I was glad he was no longer suffering and in pain. The illness had taken part of Tim from us, and he was never quite the same again. My deepest sympathies go out to all the family at this time. Rest in Peace, Tim - you will be very much missed. - Posted by: Kevin Holland (Long-time Friend) on: Sep 27, 2013

  • Tim will be greatly missed. I remember fondly some great games at my house playing games like Johnny Reb with Tim. It didn't matter what game it was, as long as he was with friends he was happy. A good guy taken from us far too soon. - Posted by: Pedro Bedard (Old friend) on: Sep 26, 2013
