ELIZABETH (BETTE) MCLEAN (nee DUGUID) It is with sadness that we the family announce the passing of our dearly beloved Mother and Nanny on Wednesday, September 25, at Tuxedo Villa. Bette grew up in Weston and was the youngest daughter of a large family. She attended Cecil Rhodes and Daniel McIntyre schools and was a life member of Calvin Presbyterian Church. Bette worked for the City Hydro and IBM until she began raising her family. She was a wonderful Mother and enjoyed sharing her home with family and friends. Bette and her family enjoyed 40 years at Victoria Beach and in later years their winter vacations in Florida. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Susan and husband Trevor Watson and two cherished grandsons, Kyle and Keith; brother-in-law Bruce McLean and his wife Connie; sister-in-law Pearl Duguid; along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ken (Coincidently) on September 25, 1999; son Kevin 1986; and granddaughter Krista-Anne Watson in 1980. Service information will be published in Monday's newspaper. • Auntie Bette was the big sister my brother and I never had when we were growing up. I'll never forget her little giggle when she was telling a story - Posted by: Jim Griffith (nephew) on: Sep 29, 2013

  • Bette was a lovely lady and her family will miss her very much. We used to be on the same bus going to work years ago in our young working years and altho we since lived in different cities, kept in touch via e-mail. Her e-mails stopped coming but Susan would keep me up to date on her mom. Rest in peace Bette. - Posted by: Joan Lewis (Cousin) on: Sep 28, 2013
