CONNIE RADCLIFFE Peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70 years. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Charlie, two sons Scott and Darrin and her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents and one brother. Connie was born and raised in the Elmwood area of Winnipeg. She met and married Charlie in 1965 and together raised their family in Transcona. Connie was employed with Sears Canada for 17 years ending her career there as the Catalogue Manager. She spent five years in Inuvik as Department Manager of North Mart. Connie loved her flower gardens and the special times with family at their cottage in the Falcon Lake area for 52 years. Connie was so proud of her grandniece and grandnephew, Kara and Kurtis, and enjoyed every moment they shared together. In keeping with Connie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service to honour her memory will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the following people, Rhonda Hawthorne, Lin Bargiglione, Sandra and Vic Swenarchuk, Carol and Ken Young, Ingrid Yorke, Linda and Jack Palzer, Maureen and Roy Matthews, Barb and Jim Robson and the doctors and staff at St. Boniface General Hospital for their friendship, care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie's memory can be donated to Lutheran Church of the Cross, 708 McCalman Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2L 1G7.
