Al is survived by his son Keith (Shaleen), daughter Ainslie (Newton), grandchildren Evan, Alexander, Alyson, Grace and Ethan, sisters Dolores and Michelle (Glenn), wife Patricia, son-in-law Brad and several nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his daughter Alyson, his mom Ann, father John and in-laws Elsie and Steve. Al grew up in Winnipeg, attended Sisler and graduated from Tec Voc High School. He worked for 28 years as a Federal Meat Inspector at Canada Packers, East West Packers, Burns and Maple Leaf. He enjoyed an early retirement from the Government, to focus on his true passion, Al's Bobcat Service. Al loved spending time in his garden, sitting on his deck and travelling to Phoenix. Al was a devoted father who loved his children more than anything. His later years were spent doting over his five grandchildren who loved their Grandpa immensely. A celebration of Al's life will take place on Friday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul. Reception to follow.
