ROMAN JOHN STRAWA Peacefully on the morning of October 2, 2013, Roman Strawa passed away with his wife and son by his side. Roman leaves behind his wife Cecile of 53 years, and his son Ronald. Roman was born in Selkirk, Manitoba on December 16, 1935. Roman was a chartered accountant who worked for the Federal Government for 37 years. After his retirement, Roman enjoyed his life until Alzheimer's and dementia slowly took over him. I would like to thank all the staff and employees of Bethania Personal Care Home, for their care of Roman in his final days. Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held. Dear Cec, My sincere condolences to you and Ronald on Roman's passing. Wishing you peace to bring comfort and courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. I remember being at your wedding, I remember you and Roman being at my mom's house with Ronald when he was a baby (still have a picture of me holding him )and I always enjoyed when you and Roman would come to visit my mom.
