ROLANDE HERMINE GRIEVE Peacefully, Rolande Hermine Grieve (Lussier) passed away on October 9, 2013 at the Grace Hospital with her family close by her heart. Rolande will be lovingly remembered by daughter Lorie, son Douglas, grandchildren Brett, Danielle and Zachary, son-in-law Alberto Jr. DeRado, sisters Denise, Edith, Gertrude, Jean, and brother Marcel (Pete). Rolande was predeceased by her husband Gordon, and sisters Rita and Mary. She will sadly be missed by both family and friends including those at the Westhaven Seniors residence and the Retired Club at Unit 283 ANAF. Rolande was born on October 23, 1924 in St. Pierre, Manitoba growing up on a farm in neighboring St. Elizabeth. Rolande later moved to Portage La Prairie and Winnipeg with her sisters, where she later met her husband Gordon and raised their family and has lived ever since. Rolande always had a zest for living life and loved dancing, cooking and meeting with "the girls", but her family was always her top priority. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband). The family would like to thank Dr Li and the staff at the Grace Hospital 3rd floor Medicine for their care, support and kindness, as well as good friends Tracie, Lynda and cousin Monique for their support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to either the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to The Grace Hospital Foundation. We Love you and will miss you!
