PATRICIA MARION BELL 1928 - 2013 Peacefully at home surrounded by tremendous love our amazing mother, Patricia Marion Bell (nee Cameron) passed away on October 7, 2013. Pat is survived by her daughters, Catherine Higham (Jim), Sandra Pedrick (Tim) from St. Albert, AB and Laura-Lee Bouchard (Roger), by her nine grandsons James (Tara) and Michael Higham, Scott, Kyle, Craig, Ryan and Nathaniel Pedrick and Brendan and Cameron Bouchard; two great-grandsons, Owen and Easton Higham, son-in-law Bob Langdon (Irene), aunt Isabella Newell, and many Cameron and Fraser cousins. She was predeceased by parents Bruce and Ina Cameron, husband George, eldest daughter Brenda Langdon, and life long friend Shirley Passey. Mom's life was her family. Everything she did revolved around her children, and she was "Mom" to all of our friends too. She was her grandsons' biggest fan and spent many hours at hockey rinks and football fields. In the past few years she waited patiently in her favourite chair at home to hear about the games. No matter what the outcome she smiled with sheer pride. Mom retired as Production Manager at Innova Envelope (formerly Barber Ellis) in 1988. She loved being at the cottage, particularly with Shirley and Jack. Mom was one of a kind. We only hope that as her daughters we can be half the remarkable woman she was. On behalf of mom and ourselves we want to thank her family doctor, Ainslie Mihalchuk - with her incredible support we had many more wonderful years with mom. To our angels who supported us caring for mom at home; Mandi, Victoria, Yolande, Emeline, Rose Mary, Janice and Olga - you always respected mom and treated her with so much dignity. We couldn't have done it without your support. At mom's request there will be a private family service. In her memory please visit or call your mom today, give her a hug, tell her you love her and be grateful for each day you have together. Donations in memory of our mom can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 9Z9. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com

  • I am saddened to read of Pat's passing. I have many fond memories of weekends spent at the cottage, and of course Florida in '84. Though many years have passed since then, I have never forgotten the hospitality and friendship you extended to me. Rest in peace. - Posted by: John O'Neil (Family friend) on: Oct 13, 2013
