Later she obtained her B.Ed. and began her teaching career in Portage La Prairie and carried on to the Transcona Springfield School Division in Winnipeg. She retired as a guidance counselor in 1995. A world traveler, she made several treks through Europe with her good friend Nola. After retirement Gail and Harry became snowbirds to Florida where they enjoyed golf, friends, and many shuttle and rocket launches. Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I always enjoyed Gail's warmth when I was at high school during the 1970s. I was an "outsider" at TCI and she and J. Sutherland always made me so welcome in the counselling room where some other kids and I used to hang out to avoid the crowds at lunch. I wish we had known each other as adults. - Posted by: Bradley Zembic (Student 1970s) on: Oct 31, 2014

  • I will miss Gail dearly. We spent one hour together every week for many, many years. She had become such a great friend of mine.
