GRACE NELLIE CLOSEN February 18, 1912 October 4, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Grace Nellie Closen at the age of 101 years. She was predeceased by her son Allan and great-grandson Ken Jr. Lovingly remembered by her sons Brian and Lorne, daughters-in-law Joyce and Erica, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren, plus many nephews and nieces. Mom had many interests in life and was successful in all of them. Her greatest love was her family. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Many thanks to Park West Manor for all the wonderful and loving care. Private funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Not a day goes by that we miss more .I love you and miss you sneaking us grandchildren dessert before dinner just to make sure we had dessert. I will miss your Apple pie and home perogies and choc chip cookies. Every time I make the cookies and perogies, I feel u close.
