SHERREY LAKE (nee BESWATHERICK) May 9, 1961 October 4, 2013 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Sherrey Lake on October 4, 2013, at the age of 52. Sherrey is lovingly remembered by all her family especially her devoted husband Mike of 34 years, daughters Bobbie-Jo (Kevin), Betty-Jo, Billie-Jo(Paul), grandchildren, Julie, Eric, Aidan, Violet, Ariel, Emily, Matthew, and Owen. Her absence will also be felt by her animals, Lacey, Jasper, and Cleo. Sherrey was predeceased by her loving father, William "Bob", whom she loved dearly, father-in-law Alfred, and baby grandson Brayden. Sherrey was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, and later moved to Winnipeg where she met her husband and raised their family. Sherrey enjoyed walking down to the lake on SunValley with her girls to feed the ducks and geese. Halloween was a favourite time of year for Sherrey, who loved to decorate the house for all to enjoy. She enjoyed 5 pin bowling in a league and was always hoping to return. Her passions were crafting, painting, and cooking, especially when shared with her grandchildren. No formal service will take place; Sherrey asks that you remember her while participating in an activity that makes you happy. Thank-You to Dr. Abdulrehman who was more than just a doctor, he was also a friend. Thank-You to all the staff at Concordia Hospital, that went above and beyond to make Sherrey comfortable. In lieu of flowers Sherrey asks that you make a donation to D'Arcy's A.R.C. or an animal shelter of your choosing. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

Mike, Bobby-Jo, Betty-Jo, Billie-Jo, please accept my sympathies and condolences on the loss of Sherrey. Her death must be a great loss for all of you. I am sorry I never got to know her too well over the years. I am looking forward to meeting with you Mike and the girls and their families in the future. Mike and family, I was so sad when I didn't see you and Sherrey on my volunteer rounds on Wednesday. I didn't know Sherrey before but that same beautiful smile was on her face almost every time I came into her room.
