• Marcel, you are the kindest, most considerate person I know. When I was so ill in 2001, it was you who lifted up the kitty dishes and litterbox so I could take care of them; it was you and Susan who carried my laundry to the machines and helped me with it; it was you who took me for walks until I was able to travel on my own. I have never forgotten and have always appreciated your kindness and caring attitude not only toward me but toward others. Your sense of humour always lightened my day and your knowledge never ceased to amaze me - you knew so much about so many things. I'm so sorry I couldn't be at your funeral today but I am watching from Merritt. My heart goes out to you, Susan, and to Marcel's family. If you need me, I'm just a phone call away. I would like, in some measure to return the thoughtful kindness and friendship you and Susan have shown me over the years.
