Auntie Armelle & family. So sorry to hear about Uncle Johnny. I will miss him dearly. I'm grateful to have visited with him everytime I was back in Winnipeg. He always made me a wonderful supper and made me laugh. I'm sure he's in heaven having a good visit with my dad Denis Martel. My thoughts are with you all! Johnny and Armelle had a home daycare and took care of my brother and I at a young age. Johnny was always happy go lucky and I remember watching the Young and the Restless with him before my parents would pick me up. After we grew up and would visit or bump into Johnny, he always remembered us. I once got my leg stuck in a tree in their yard and he had to pull me out. A few years ago I bumped into him and the first thing he said was "Danielle! Remember when you got stuck in that tree?". He was so kind to us. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. My condolences to the entire family. - Posted by: Danielle Bedard (Family friend) on: Oct 17, 2013

To the family: We send you our sincerest condolences. It was truly a blessing to have Johnny and family and all his brothers and sisters at my Mother's 90th birthday, (Johnny's sister Eveline) in May 2013. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
