JACK NORMAN HADALLER On October 12, 2013, at the Misericordia Health Centre, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Jack passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years, with his grandson Shaun at his side. Jack will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Louise, his wife of 63 years; his daughter Sandra (Lyle) Scrymgeour; daughter Maureen Gander (Ed Polischuk); daughter Donna Hadaller; son Ross (Jo-Anne) Hadaller; grandchildren Jeff Gander, Ryan Gander, Chris Scrymgeour, Shaun Scrymgeour and Lauren Hadaller. Also mourning his passing are his brother, Dennis (Muggs) Hadaller; sister, Gladys Cook; sister-in-law, Gladys Schindel; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was predeceased by his brother Bill and wife, Nora Hadaller; and in-laws Carl Schindel, Robert Cook, Walt and Caroline Bjorklund, Abe and Ida Hiebert. Jack was born at home in Hazelridge, Manitoba on July 11, 1927. He was the second of four children born to Queenie and Everett Hadaller. Jack worked at the Glass Garage for 44 years from 1946 until his retirement in 1990. Along with his brothers, Bill (for 20 years) and Dennis (for over 30 years) he worked as a mechanic and machinery salesman in their Massey Ferguson farm implement dealership. Jack was also a grain farmer throughout these years, spending many evenings and weekends on the fields. Our parents generously provided land for each of their four adult children to live in the Springfield area and raise their families - all thanks to dad's determination and love of farming. Jack and Louise celebrated their 63rd Anniversary on October 7, 2013. During those years our family remembers many happy times relaxing with our parents at Brereton Lake and Falcon Lake. After selling their cabin in 1987, Jack and Louise enjoyed 23 years of summer holidays camping in their tent trailer, until 2010. Jack's passion in life centered around providing for his children and nurturing dearly loved grandchildren. His gentle nature and generous spirit were a blessing to us all. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19 at the Transcona Christian Reformed Church located at 131 Victoria Ave West with Ken Vaags officiating. Private interment at the Millbrook Cemetery with family and close friends will take place Saturday morning. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
