Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I have known Sister Ginger since 1977. We had an automatic connection right from our first meeting. I don't know if it was our mutual love of children or her kind loving nature that made the bond. She was a gift to our community. The families in her day care loved her and she was one of the biggest advocates for children in Winnipeg. She will be missed by so many. God Speed Sister Ginger. Remembered fondly by Dianne Kennedy - Posted by: Dianne Kennedy (colleague) on: Oct 26, 2013

  • Sister Ginger is fondly and frequently remembered at our house for the wonderful, caring, lovely woman that she was. Our children went to daycare under her guidance and we would occasionally stop by to visit even after many years. Sister Ginger was a great teacher and had an enormous capacity to love and give. My children and I are blessed to have had her speak into our lives. She is sadly missed and greatly celebrated. - Posted by: Robin Reid () on: Oct 24, 2013

  • Sister Ginger was a colleague of mine for over 30 years. Her love and joy of working with children was one of her many strengths. I considered her my wisest mentor and most ardent debater on Early Childhood matters, you will be remembered fondly, love Dawn - Posted by: Dawn Forbes, Kings Park Child Care (Colleague and friend) on: Oct 24, 2013
