• Our sincere sympathy to John & Lynda & Rob and Laura and their girls. Aunt Wilma was truly a wonderful lady. She always remembered birthdays & anniversaries and she had a genuine goodness about her. Anytime we travelled through Winnipeg, she had us as guests in her home. Her hospitality was outstanding. • Some of my favourite memories of Wilma are from the St. Andrew's Pipe Band trip to Scotland in 1992. We shared a room at the Ben Nevis Youth Hostel, a real experience, and she introduced me to cucumber sandwiches. Since that time, she has been a constant supporter of the LSBPB, attending the concerts and performances whenever she was able. Always had a kind word for Lee, another of her 'band boys'. • I was blessed to have Wilma as my next door neighbour for 30 years on Baffin. She has been a friend, grandmother, and a mentor to me my entire life. I was so blessed to be able to see her hold my baby girl and fall in love with her too.
