Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARLENE TROUT It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of Marlene Trout at age 63 on October 20, 2013 at Golden Links Lodge in Winnipeg, MB. Leaving to mourn her passing are daughters, Keri (Trevor), and Karla (Robert); grandson Hayden; brother Harvey (Janet); and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Albert and Mary Simpson respectively, sister Elda, and brother-in-law Norm. Marlene was born on May 12, 1950 in Dauphin, MB. She later moved to Winnipeg, married and worked at Great West Life until starting a family. She enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing garments (especially Halloween costumes), biking, skating, and spending time with friends and family. Too soon into her life, Marlene became ill and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Our family would like to thank the staff of Golden Links Lodge and Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. R3K 1W3. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to do so, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 100-1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB. R3T 1L8.
