Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE-ANN EVA CARRIERE (nee ZARECKI) October 2, 1954 October 14, 2013 Peacefully, after a four year battle with cancer, Rose-Ann passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Rose-Ann is survived by her son, Brett; grandson, Jude; brothers, Murray (Gail) and Terry (Theresa); as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ollie (2001) and Joe (2011) Zarecki. My mom is and was an amazing woman. She will forever be an inspiration, a source/symbol of strength and the embodiment of courage in my eyes. I want to thank the amazing spirits that are the Nurses, Aides and Doctors at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. On Saturday, November 2, 2013 Rose-Ann's Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, wojciksfuneralchapel.com 204 586 - 8668. "Mom, you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. I love and miss you dearly every second of every minute of every day."

Brett; I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful person. I never did meet her like we had planned for so man years, we did talk on the phone though. She did a great job loving her son and now her grandson. I know that the pain of her loss will not disappear but I also know that her memory will live on through you.
