MARCEL ADELARD DESJARLAIS January 28, 1956 October 19, 2013 It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Marcel in his home while courageously battling cancer. Marcel will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Rose; sons, Michael (Ashley) and Matthew; sisters, Charlene, Celeste (Tom); brother, Harold (Anita) and numerous beloved relatives and friends. Marcel was predeceased by his father, Albert; sister, Janet; brother, Albert; nephew, Daniel; grandparents, George and Alice Boucher, and Joseph and Clara Desjarlais; and many other beloved relatives. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Cancer Care Manitoba for their compassionate care of Marcel. We also extend our thanks to the members of Fire and Paramedic Response Team who attended at the home. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St. in St. Boniface, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 1:00 pm. with Father Martin Bradbury presiding. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers donations in Marcel's memory may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Wpg, MB, R3E 0B9.
