Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNESTOR BASARABA It is with heavy hearts that we announce Nestor's peaceful passing on October 26, 2013 at the age of 86 years with the love of his life, Nettie, and family by his side. Nestor was predeceased by his father Hryhory, mother Petrunela, four brothers and two sisters. Nestor is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nettie, sons Larry (Susan), Chris and Dennis (Jo-Anne); grandchildren Tannis (Cameron), Darcy (Alyssa), Andrea, Jason and great-grandson Campbell as well as numerous nephews, nieces and close friends. After enjoying a successful career at Pritchard Engineering, when he retired and he enjoyed the good life eating Nettie's cooking, spending days outside in the greenhouse and weekends at the lake. Nestor travelled around the world with his soul mate to Hawaii, Mexico, Cuba, Australia and the Ukraine just to name a few! We love you and miss you dearly! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, MB. www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

Auntie Nettie & Family, We were so very sorry to hear of Uncle Nestor's passing. It's so very sad to know that he's gone, but take comfort in all of the wonderful years of memories you and all of us have had. Especially growing up and visiting you in Winnipeg, or getting together in PR were great moments in our lives. He'll truly be missed and now joins the others in that special place.
