Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE ROBSON (nee COURCHENE) August 1, 1948 - October 25, 2013 It is with great sorrow that we, the family of Florence Robson announce her passing at the age of 65 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Melanie (Chris), Kris (Melissa); grandchildren Glenn, Nathan, Cassidy, and Kurt; siblings Philip, Joan (Wilfred) and Marie; aunt Therese; uncles Bob, George (Mary) and Ernie as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Sarah; children Colette and Kurt; brother Glenn; nephew Jason and niece Robin. Florence was born on August 1, 1948 in Roseau River, MB. She was known for her sense of humour, her crazy laugh, her love of family and friends, her inner strength, fierce determination and how she never backed down no matter what life threw her way. She was a little woman with a great big heart. Never one to turn a person in need away, everybody called her "Mom". She loved bingo, travelling, puzzles, volunteering, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the St Boniface hospital MICU for their tremendous efforts. We would also like to thank Dr Lambrechts and the staff at Pine Falls Health Complex. Viewing will take place Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m, followed by Funeral Service on Thursday, October 31, 2013, 10:00 a.m., both services will be held at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St in Selkirk, MB. Interment to follow in the St Peters Church Cemetery. We will miss the guidance, support, and most of all the love that you gave to us. My deepest condolences; I've known the Robson family for over 20 years. It's heartbreaking to see another leave for the spirit world. Florence will be missed here on earth, but you no longer suffer. Florence was one of the elder cousins in my life...my memories of her were from my child years...she visited in Roseau with her mom and siblings almost every year...she was close to my sister Liz...I remember her as being the center of attention when she came around...she was loud and filled with jokes and laughter...the adults enjoyed her wit and humour...she will be missed by her Henry relatives from Roseau River...RIP Cuz... - Posted by: Debra L.
