CHERYL EDELSON 1953 - 2013 It is with heavy hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Cheryl Edelson on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 59. Cheryl was predeceased by her mother Marion. Left to cherish her memory are her parents Max and Adelia, brother Thomas, two stepsisters Cathy and Sonya, nieces and friends. Memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment will follow. Glen Eden Funeral Home and Cemetery 338-7111

I remember Cheryl when I lived in Winnipeg in the late 70's. I just was internet surfing a saw that she passed so many years ago. She was a good person - with a heart of gold. After I left Winnipeg we stayed in contact for a number of years but sadly lost contact. My thoughts are with the family, even after these many years. To Cheryl's family and all of her friends I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Those who have posted so far, we all know each other, a coming together of sorts to remember a dear friend. I knew Cheryl well for many years while in Winnipeg, over the years after I moved away we drifted apart but I never forgot her or who she is.
