HILDA SOJKA With great sadness on October 30, 2013 Hilda passed away at Extendicare Oakview Place at the age of 86. Hilda is survived by her daughter Wanda Scammell; sons Frank and Henry Sojka, son-in-law Mack Chepil all of Winnipeg; four grandchildren Tracey (Doug) Creighton, Viesha Baluk, Jason and Brandy Charbonneau; 10 great-grandchildren Ashley, Dani, Dustin, Colton, Phyllissa, Clarence, Kobe, Dylan, Damon and Tevin. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Sojka; daughter Helena Chepil and granddaughter Delaney Scammell. Hilda was a loving and supportive mother and nana. Family and friends meant so much to Hilda. She was a wonderful conversationalist and listener. A true lady that was easy to love. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview Extendicare for all their care and for making a home for Hilda. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Should friends so desire, to enrich the lives of others, donations may be made at Extendicare Oakview Place, 2395 Ness Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 1A5. 204-586-8044
