Omer was the cousin of my mother Irma (Lemay) McDonald. When my grandmother died in 1978 Omer came to the funeral and lifted all of our spirits. I visited Aunt Rosine and his family when I was a young girl at St. Lazare. I only heard of his passing on 26th January 2014. I wish I had seen him again. Hopefully we will meet in heaven!
