Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION (MAISIE) BURLING May 17, 1913 - November 6, 2013 Maisie Burling was born in Winnipeg on May 17, 1913 and died at the age of 100 on November 6, 2013. Maisie will be missed by her nieces, Kerry LaRocque and Dale Penner, great-nephew Jamie and great-nieces, Kelly, Tracy and Robin. Maisie served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War, stationed in Dayton, Ohio. Following the war, she had a career with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She was a world traveller and participated in curling and tennis into her 90's. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Place for their care and compassion. A celebration of Maisie's life will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
