My wife and friend Phil also knew Cathy from The Fireplace days. She was such a nice and vibrant person. I also had the good fortune to bump into her in Winnipeg over the years. Very sad, she will be missed by so many. Rest in peace Cathy. - Posted by: Court Brooker (Friend) on: Dec 09, 2013

When I first met Cathy I was introduced to her by her sister Toni. immediately I saw Cathy as a beautiful woman strong minded and very independent. On occasion we would all go out together Toni Cathy and myself and wold have a hell of a good time!! Cathy loved her sister Toni so very much and everyone new it. I always admired Cathy for her strength and ability to see ahead and also had a great sense for character of other people. She was such a hard worker and we were in the same line of work and she always respected her peers. I deeply miss seeing her walking and running into her in random places and we always took the time to stop and talk. I'm so glad she was able to meet my daughter Jessie and she told me how beautiful my daughter is and that made my day, which she had a way of doing not just with me but with others too. knowing Cathy for over 30 years I will sadly miss her and I know we will meet again in the next life. Love and sympathy to the family and my condolences love, Kelly Legere - Posted by: Kelly Legere (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2013

I had the pleasure of knowing Kathleen and was deeply saddened by her passing. Kathleen was a friend with whom I would enjoy a cup of coffee or a lunch together on almost a daily basis for years. Kathy and I worked out of the same buildings as independent law clerks (also known as "runners") I sure will miss her caring and thoughtful ways she had for life and that beautiful smile that would light up the room. My daughter Characie also had the pleasure of knowing her sadly only for a short period of time and admired her strength, confidence and independence. She had a wonderful and kind aura about her. I wish I had kept in touch with you Cathy after our lives went different ways. God bless you, see you in the next life one day, love Bonnie. - Posted by: Bonnie Legere (Friend) on: Nov 20, 2013

I first met Cathy when we both wanted the same apartment on Stradbrook & Donald. I ended up living down the hall from her and becoming her friend from that time onwards. She had a HUGE smile and an even bigger laugh. It was contagious !! Over the years I bumped into her all over Winnipeg. She knew many people I knew. It's a small world we often said to each other. Now with her passing, it's become an even smaller world. I'll miss seeing her here and there. She was always a pleasure to see & talk to. Good-bye Cathy. See you on the other side. Rest in Peace !! - Posted by: Randy Heatherington (Friend) on: Nov 09, 2013
