PAUL JOHN HUEGING November 2, 1965 - November 8, 2013 With deep sorrow the family announces the accidental passing of our beloved son, brother and Uncle Paul. He is survived by his mother Alwine; sister Margaret; brothers Henry (Claudia), Hermann (Audrey) and Frank. Also mourning his loss are nieces Angela and Anna (Jonah); nephews, Curtis, Darren (Allison), Ryan, Darcy, Karl, Darrell, Michael and Evan. He was predeceased by his father Franz and sister Elisabeth. Paul attended Woodlands Elementary and Warren High School. He then went on to the University of Manitoba for his degree in Agriculture. Shortly after completing his schooling, he purchased a dairy farm in the Woodlands area which he operated till the time of his passing. Paul has been a director of the Marquette Co-op for a number of years. He was also involved with the Catholic church in Woodlands. Paul enjoyed many years playing rec hockey for the Raiders. Paul was known for his keen interest in pursuing knowledge. He did by reading numerous books and magazines. With his exceptional memory, he was able to use the knowledge he gained to initiate many thought provoking conversations. Paul also had a great understanding of numbers and stats. Some of his happiest times were spent taking his nieces and nephews to sporting events or entertaining them at his home. You could always count on Paul to put others before himself. Prayers will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Annunciation in Woodlands on Thursday, November 14, 2013, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be immediately after at the parish cemetery. Father Michel Nault will officiate. Pallbearers are nephews Curtis, Darren, Ryan, Darcy, Karl, Darrell, Michael and Evan.
