Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMELVIN (BUD) GEORGE ANDERSON July 25, 1930 - November 9, 2013 It is with great sadness we, the family, announce the passing of Bud Anderson in Pine Falls at the age of 83 years. Bud was predeceased by his wife Merle in 2007; his parents John and Winnifred Anderson; one brother, Wilfred Anderson; two sisters, Lorna and Mary, and daughter-in-law, Pam Monkman. Bud is survived by children, Gert (Karl) Weimar, Kim (Donna) Anderson, Curtis Monkman (Suzi Skovrlj). He is also survived by his sister Rubena Mignon, as well as his special friend Jean Cunningham; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild. Bud worked throughout his life driving trucks with numerous companies and before he retired he drove team with his grandson and then retired at the age of 81. Bud loved spending time fixing things and being around home when he wasn't on the road. He was a quiet man but always had a smile on that could light up a room. Bud enjoyed his family and loved seeing it grow through the years, he will be missed and remembered always in our hearts. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Wayside Gospel Chapel in Grand Marais, MB with interment to follow at St. Jude's Anglican Cemetery in Balsam Bay, MB. Rev. Alex Cross will be officiating. Monkman Family Funeral Home in care of arrangements, 204-226-7581
