RONIE TANCHAK 1949 - 2013 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother and uncle, Ronie Tanchak, on November 12, 2013. Ronie is survived by his lifelong friend Donna (of 20 years), siblings Ruthie (Martin), Joanie (Art), Bobie, Debbie (Gary), Glen (Sandra), Howard and all their families, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Ronie was born and raised in Winnipeg. He spent many years in the barber business, owning his own shop and lately working in a location on Main Street. Ronie loved sports and was a longtime fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets. He touched and influenced many people. "Ronie, we love you and you will be in our hearts forever." A Memorial Service will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery) on Thursday, November 21, 2013, viewing will be at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. We met Ronnie 4 years ago, wish we could have met you sooner, will miss you. Our granddaughter Madison met uncle Ronnie at the same time and they became good friends, he always brought her smarties every time we met for coffee.
