Date of Passing: Nov 17, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSIE ROGOWSKI (nee DWOLINSKI) It is with sadness that we announce the death of Josie Rogowski at home on November 17, 2013 at the age of 73 years. Josie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Peter Rogowski, children Janilee (Dwight) Sawatzky, Brenda (Chris) Dunn, and grandson Bradley Dunn, siblings Albert (Olga) Dwolinski, Violet Harrow, Florence (Norman) Rogowsky and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by Lena Weselowski (mother) and Emil Dwolinski (brother). Josie was born in Fisher Branch, where she spent the first few years of her life prior to moving to Winnipeg in 1954 with her mother. Josie was later married in Winnipeg, and along with her husband, were dedicated as Jehovah's Witnesses. Josie, like her mother, was an energetic, outgoing person. She enjoyed sewing and gardening for herself and others. She spent her time taking care of her family and elderly friends. Josie's greatest love was for Jehovah and studying the Bible, where she learned about the wonderful and comforting promises for the future. She could often be found sharing what she learned with others. Josie's family share their hope and are comforted by the promised resurrection and look forward to being reunited in the coming paradise earth. (John 5:28, 29) The family would like to extend sincere thanks to our fellow witnesses and friends who have proved themselves to be a brother in times of trial. A Service of Remembrance will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Elmwood Congregation, 937 Gateway Road. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Elmwood Congregation, 937 Gateway Road, Winnipeg, MB R2K 3L1. Hi Peter, Janilee, Brenda and Family. Sorry to hear of Josie's death. Our family & us remember her well as WELL AS the rest of you. May Jehovah's spirit help you as you cope with this loss. I remember how your family & my parents were very close. Christian Love. P.S. My dad Bill died in 1999 (91 yrs. old), my mother Mary in May, 2008 (93) and my brother Laurence (71) from cancer Sept. 2008. We are doing as well as possible with our age creeping toward the 80's. May Jehovah continue to bless you all. - Posted by: Leonard & Helen Hudjik (Old friends) on: Nov 24, 2013
